Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-25 · effective 2026-10-25
Rentiness is in early access for invited businesses.
The service
Rentiness is software for running a rental business: what you rent, where, how you charge, how each rental runs, and the documents and payments around it. Features change as the product develops during early access.
Your account
You need a Rentiness login to use the service. Keep your password private, use a password that is not your Google password, and give your staff only the roles their work requires. You are responsible for what happens under your account and your business.
Your project, your data, your Google billing
Your business data is stored in your own Google Firebase project. You own that data and that project. Google bills you directly for the project's usage under Google's terms; Rentiness is not part of that billing. Rentiness accesses your project only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your business information, prices, locations and customer data accurate.
- Use Rentiness lawfully, including towards your own customers: their personal data, your terms with them, and your tax and invoicing obligations. Rentiness helps you run these processes; it does not replace your own legal or accounting advice.
- Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break its security, reach other businesses' data, or overload it.
Fees
Early access is free of Rentiness fees. Before any fee applies, we will publish the pricing and ask you to accept it; nothing is charged without that. Google's own charges for your project are separate and between you and Google.
Availability
We work for a reliable service, but during early access Rentiness is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and features may change or be withdrawn.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Rentiness is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or lost business, and its total liability is limited to the fees you paid Rentiness in the twelve months before the claim (during free early access, none). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending
You can stop using Rentiness at any time; your data remains in your own project. We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk, and we will tell you why.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, their version changes, and Rentiness asks you to accept the new version before you continue.
